Frequently Asked Questions

Booking Questions

•  How do I book a wedding?

     - Use the contact us area of our website to send us an inquiry. If we are available we will send you a contract to get the process started.

•  How and when do we pay?

     - 50% of your total is required to book your session and reserve your date. A check mailed in with your contract is usually the easiest way to do this. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding.

•  Do you accept credit card payment or cash?

     - Unfortunately we do not accept credit card payments.  Checks are preferred but we do accept cash if it is hand delivered to our Lehi office.

Wedding Photography Questions

•  How many pictures will I receive?

     - This will of coarse depend on what you book, but here are a few numbers to give you an idea. (all are edited)

Wedding day: 300-500 images

Bridals or Engagements: 150-200 images

•  How are my photos edited?

     - All of the photos you receive will be color corrected and adjusted for contrast and exposure. All of the photos on our website are examples of this type of editing. Heavy retouching such as skin smoothing and the whitening of teeth and eyes is available at an additional cost per image.

•  How will we receive our pictures?

     - When your photos are finished we will email you a link to download your photos. We encourage you to make a second copy of your pictures to another hard drive or computer for backup.

•  When will we receive our pictures?

Bridal and Engagement pictures are given top priority and typically take about a week to a week and a half. Wedding photos can be expected back in 4-6 weeks.

•  Do I have printing rights to my pictures?

     - Yes, we give you full resolution JPEG photos that you can print and enlarge as you please.

•  Does it matter where I print my photos?

     - For color accuracy and exposure we do highly recommend professional labs either online or locally.  If you do choose to print somewhere other than a professional lab we recommend de-selecting the auto correct feature to avoid discoloration and incorrect exposure

Wedding Videography Questions

•  Whats the deal with licensed music?

     - Record labels and social media sites are cracking down on the use of unlicensed music. Facebook and others no longer allow you to upload videos without having properly licensing to the music. This means that many of your main stream songs you hear on the radio are unfortunately not an option for your film. This in many ways however improves the final look and feel of your wedding video. By using licensed music we are able to produce a more cinematic feel that can be enjoyed for years to come without dating itself by using main stream music.

•  So what music can we use and do I get to pick it?

     - There are many music sites that offer licensed music. We have culled through thousands of songs and picked some of our favorites for you to consider. Once we have a good gauge on how long your final video will be we will send you some play lists to listen through to see if any of them work for you. You are also welcome to browse through any of the songs available on these approved sites:

•  How and when will we receive our video(s)?

     - Your video will be mailed to you on a DVD. This disk contains a full HD digital version that we encourage you to copy to your computer. This disk can also be used in any DVD player to view your video(s). The turn around time for weddings is typically 6 weeks. First look videos have a turn around time of about 2 weeks.

•  Do you do same day edits?

     - Unfortunately no we do not, we like to put a little more time in to each edit to make sure we get it spot on. If your looking to show something at a reception however we do offer “first look” bridal videos that can be finished in time for the wedding day as long as it is scheduled/shot at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

•  May I post my video(s) to social media?

     - With licensed music, yes you may! Feel free to post away!
